Terms of Use
Scrum Poker (the "Service") is operated by Hexense Tech OÜ, a company registered in Estonia ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Scrum Poker is a real-time Planning Poker application for Agile estimation. It is currently provided free of charge and on an "as is" basis. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction, if higher — to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms.
3. No account required
The Service uses anonymous sign-in; you are not asked to create an account or provide an email address. You are responsible for the content you enter — including display names, room names, and ticket details — and for activity within any room you create or join. You should not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal information — including credentials or third-party personal data — unless you are authorised to do so.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- submit content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others;
- disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to rooms, data, or systems; or
- access the Service through automated means, except standard search-engine indexing.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or block your access to the Service if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, or where necessary to protect the Service, its users, or its infrastructure.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is not intended for mission-critical use. We may suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.
7. Pricing and future changes
The Service is free to use today. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or paid features in the future. If we do, any paid terms will be presented to you before you incur a charge, and features that are free at the time may be subject to change.
8. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by us and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you no rights in the Service other than to use it as permitted here. Content you enter remains yours; you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, and realtime infrastructure, and may integrate with external tools such as issue trackers when you choose to connect them. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the terms of the relevant third party.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hexense Tech OÜ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we process and why.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version carries the version number and effective date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
